How can we help?
Choosing daycare for your infant or toddler is a meaningful decision. We’ve gathered answers to the questions families ask us most often—so you can feel informed, comfortable, and ready for the next step.
Montessori at Global
Montessori is a child-centred approach that respects each child’s natural curiosity and individual pace of development. In thoughtfully prepared classrooms, children learn through hands-on materials, purposeful choice, and guidance from caring educators.
For our youngest children, Montessori begins with a warm, secure environment where they can move, explore, and build trust at their own pace. Educators offer gentle guidance and age-appropriate, hands-on experiences that support early language, movement, independence, and confidence.
Our classrooms are thoughtfully prepared for young children, with child-sized furnishings, simple routines, and materials that invite safe exploration. Educators carefully observe each child’s interests and development, then offer support and activities that encourage them to try, practise, and do more for themselves.
The first three years are a remarkable period of growth. Our program supports children’s physical, social, emotional, and early communication skills through consistent care, purposeful play, movement, and respectful relationships. Children develop confidence in themselves, a sense of belonging, and a joyful foundation for future learning.
Programs & Care
Global Montessori Center supports families with programs for children from infancy through the early years. Our Infant/Toddler program welcomes children from three months to three years. Please contact us to discuss the program that best fits your child’s age and needs.
We maintain ratios in accordance with British Columbia licensing requirements and thoughtfully staff our classrooms so every child receives attentive, responsive care. We are happy to discuss the staffing approach for your child’s specific program during a tour.
Yes. We understand families have varied schedules and strive to be a reliable, supportive part of your child-care plan. Eligible families may also receive support through the Affordable Child Care Benefit and Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative.
Enrolment & Tours
The best way to get to know our community is to visit. Contact us to schedule a tour, and we’ll welcome you into the classroom, introduce you to our team, and answer your family’s questions.
We recommend connecting with us as early as you can, especially if you have a preferred start date. Availability can vary by program and age group. Our team can add your family to the waitlist and answer questions about the next steps.
Just yourselves—and any questions you have. You’re welcome to bring your child too; seeing how they respond to the space can be a lovely part of the visit.
Daily Life
Days balance focused classroom work, movement, outdoor time, meals or snacks, rest, and connection with friends. The rhythm is predictable enough to feel secure, with plenty of space for children to follow their interests and practise independence.
We value a warm partnership with each family. Our team shares important updates and is always available to discuss your child’s development, routines, and experiences at school.
Every child adjusts in their own way. Our educators use gentle, consistent routines and work closely with families to make transitions feel safe and manageable. We’ll talk through a settling-in plan that honours your child’s needs.
